Arts for All – LA County Arts Commission

From 2014-2018, PeoplesLab participated as a Coach to Los Angeles County public school districts, to provide all students with access to the arts as part of the core K-12 curriculum. The goal was to strengthen and sustain high quality arts instruction and integration as students prepare for college and the 21st century workforce. *56 school districts and two Los Angeles charter school networks have participated in this County-wide initiative established in 2002 by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, in a collaboration between Los Angeles County Office of Education and the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors.

PeoplesLab was assigned to several districts to guide and facilitate the process of developing an arts education plan. Over 9 to 12 months, led district and community leaders in a strategic planning process, culminating with the presentation and anticipated adoption of a district arts education policy and budgeted plan.
